Parks-Two parks, covering 12 acres in Doniphan, include a tennis court, playground equipment, picnic areas and softball and baseball fields.
Other attractions/events-Doniphan is host to the Nebraska Cornhusker Handicap Trap Shoot and state high school and college trap shoots. The Doniphan Fall Festival is held annually the first Saturday in October. Also, Doniphan is located just south of the Platte River, so the area shares in the annual spring migration of sandhill cranes, which attracts visitors from all over the country.
