Call 2-1-1 when seeking assistance

Two helpful services are available for Nebraskans seeking assistance.
Help in the form of dialing 2-1-1 on the phone can make the critical connection between individuals and/or families in need and the appropriate community-based organizations and government agencies.

The 2-1-1 connection is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week, with bilingual services available. Callers in 38 Nebraska counties have 2-1-1 access, including the following in Central Nebraska: Adams, Boone, Buffalo, Clay, Hall, Hamilton, Howard, Merrick, Nance and Polk.

More information is available on the 2-1-1 Web site at http://www.ne211.org. Also, a new Web site — http://www.housing.ne.gov/ — is now online to help Nebraskans seeking rental housing. Its services are also available in English and Spanish.
