Purchase a membership to the Grand Island Little Theatre:

The cost per ticket for a single show is $10. Individual and family season memberships to all four plays will be available. Individual season is $35 while family season is $90.
Get rid of large amounts of waste or compost:
The city owns and operates a state-licensed landfill west of Grand Island. A transfer station is located at 5050 W. Old Potash Highway for citizens to dispose of garbage, tree limbs, grass and leaves.
Rates at the transfer station are based on the weight of waste measured by the ton. Garbage is $37.10 per ton, leaves and grass are free and tree limbs are also $37.10 per ton. There is a minimum charge of $12 up to 660 pounds. After that, it starts going up at 37.10 per ton.
All loads taken to the transfer station must be covered and/or secured. Items restricted include car batteries, liquids such as motor oil, gas and paint and appliances. For more information, contact the Grand Island Landfill/Transfer Station at 385-5433.
Get in a golf league:
Grand Island has three public golf courses that offer leagues for men, women, seniors, juniors and businesses.
